Even Cowgirls Get the Blues is an American western first released on 6th January 1995, directed by Gus Van Sant. Cinematography was by John J. Campbell and the film was scored by k.d. lang. It is based on a novel by Tom Robbins and stars Uma Thurman, Lorraine Bracco, Pat Morita, Angie Dickinson and Keanu Reeves.   It is a New Line Cinema production, produced by Mary Ann Marino and distributed by Fine Line Features. Location filming was in Bend, Oregon, USA.   The film was released with the tagline: "There have been many great drivers but only one great passenger."   It is a color film and runs to 1 hour and 35 minutes.  

Our overall rating for Even Cowgirls Get the Blues is: very poor - not worth the effort.
