Film Synopsis

As Theseus, Duke of Athens, prepares to marry the beautiful Hippolyta, he is visted by Egeus who bitterly complains that his daughter Hermia refuses to marry Demetrius and instead plans to take as her husband Lysander, the man she loves.  Theseus commands the young woman to obey her father, but she runs away with Lysander into a forest.  They are soon joined by Helena, who is in love with Demetrius, and Oberon and Titania, the king and queen of the fairies...
